technology depending on when a particular battery type starts to gas.

It’s the maximum time the charger will stay in the first constant voltage stage
of the cycle.

The percentage of the nominal charger current in stage 3.

It’s the rate of change of battery voltage used to determine the automatic end
point of the charge cycle.
