Unplug the thermosensor unit and thermo unit ground connectors.

Pull back the rubber starter motor lead cover.

Remove the starter motor lead nut with a #2 Phillips screwdriver. Free the
cable lead from the starter motor. Thread the screw back on to keep track
of it.
