DL-2 EDGE PREP OPTION
OPERATING CONTROLS
Drill and Router
ON

OFF
:
Turn switch to the left position to start drill motor, turn it to the center to turn
drill off. Turn switch to the right to turn plate router motor on. Turn it to the
center to turn router off.

:
This is a (3) position air switch that controls the location of the bolt drill.

OUT
” —The drill carriage pivots away from door’s
edge.

IN
” —The drill carriage swings “
IN
”.

DOWN
” —Locks the drill carriage in position to drill.

PLUNGE

ROUTER IN
:
This is a (3) position air switch that controls the plunge of the bolt and router.
After pushing the switch to the left, the “
IN
” will plunge
the drill into the side of the door to do the bolthole.
“Release” the switch and it automatically retracts the
drill.
“Push” the switch to the right and the router will tilt in
to do the bolt plate.
