Description of operation

3.1

Use

The soldering station is turned on/off from the switch

installed on the front

. When the soldering station is on,

the switch lights up red.
The soldering station is controlled by a rotary transducer

with key function (i.e. press). This is called the i-OP. The

i-OP is used to select the desired functions and change the

values. Turning it to the right increases the value, whereas

turning it to the left lowers it.

Turning it slowly changes the value one unit at a time. Turning it quickly changes the se

-

lected values by 10/50/100 units (based on the respective parameters).

The i-OP can also be additionally equipped with a key function. Through this key function

(by pressing it), the selected parameters and values are confirmed and therefore activated
for the station. Through this key function, it is also possible to alternatively select the con

-

nected tools.  All of the settings and all of the measurement values are clearly displayed in

text, in a display window referred to as the "display".

3.2

Language selection

To select the required language, do the following:

Switch off the soldering station.

Press the i-OP and hold it down.

Turn the soldering station back on.

Hold the i-OP down until you hear a beep.
