
Using the oven
Note the safety instructions on page 26!
Notes: To operate the functions always touch the upper part of the sen-
sor keys (above the symbols). This is where the sensors are located.
Every time a key is activated an acoustic signal will sound. The oven will
only switch on if the oven door is closed.
Switching on the oven
-
Touch the
ON key
.
A pilot light in the key will indicate
that the oven is in standby.
The symbols for the baking,
roasting and heating programmes
will appear against a green
background. All functions of the
oven can now be used.
If no further function is selected after the oven has been switched on, an
acoustic signal will sound after 10 seconds. After another 10 seconds the
oven will switch off again.
Switching the oven off
-
Touch the
OFF key
. The pilot light
will go out. The symbol fields for
the oven programmes will no longer
be lit up. All oven functions are
now off.
The oven has a function to limit the operation time (safety limit). After
about 6 seconds the oven will switch off automatically.
Selecting the heating mode or a programme
-
Turn the programme selection dial (left switch)
to the right or to the
left
until you reach the heating programme, or baking and roasting pro-
gramme that you require. The symbol will light up red. The oven will go
into operation after 3 seconds. This is indicated by an acoustic signal.
If the oven door is closed the oven will heat up. The oven will not heat
up if the oven door is open.
Each
heating programme
goes into operation with a
preset cooking tem-
perature
. The temperature appears in the oven temperature display
.
Each baking and roasting programme goes into operation with a
preset
cooking temperature and a preset cooking time
(or baking temperature
and baking time).
The set temperatures and times can be changed.
Changing the cooking temperature

Turn the oven temperature dial (2nd dial on the left) to the right or to
the left until the required cooking temperature appears in the display
field.
Displaying the current temperature
The set temperature is displayed during the entire cooking process. If you
would like to know the current temperature now and again, you can dis-
play it as follows.

Touch the cooking-temperature
key
The current temperature will appear
in the display for 3 seconds.
Setting or changing the cooking time
With the minute minder
1. You can set the duration of a heating programme.
2. Change the set duration of a baking or roasting programme.

Touch the key
.

Set the time required using key
or
. The time will appear in the
display. During the cooking process the remaining cooking time will be
permanently indicated in the display.
Setting or changing the core temperature
If the roasting thermometer has been inserted into the food, the key
will light up.

Set the core temperature as required using key
or
.
The new temperature will appear in the display.
