Baking

1. Set the baking programme.

The baking process proceeds automatically at the preset temperature
and for the preset time. 

or

2. Select a heating programme.

Each heating programme starts with a preset temperature. 
This temperature can be changed.
The baking time must be set. 

It is preferable to follow the instructions in the table of standard baking
temperatures. 

Notes on baking

The oven must not be lined with aluminium foil.

 top and bottom heat so that the desired temperature is reached more

quickly.

When baking preheat the oven with the 

 bread and 

 pizza 

programme. 

3 Hot air convection

Do not preheat the oven – it is possible to bake on several levels at the
same time.

Shelf levels

one baking sheet  

3rd

 shelf from the bottom,

two baking sheets 

3rd

 shelves,

 and

 shelves, 

four baking sheets

If several cakes are baked at the same time ( in baking tins) the baking
time will increase by 5 to 10 minutes per baking sheet.

Remove the baking sheets depending on how brown the cakes are.

When baking with

 hot air convection select a temperature of 160 °C,

if your recipe does not include any instructions on baking with hot air con-
vection.

Important: 

If you bake a cake with a moist topping, the development of moistu-
re will be particularly high. Bake only two cakes at the same time.

Preheat the oven – baking on one level.
When the oven is preheated using top and bottom heat and the rapid
heating function

, the desired temperature is reached very quickly.

Baking tins made of black metal and aluminium are particularly recommen-
ded.

Only suitable for large flat cakes with a dry topping baked on a baking
sheet (e.g. streusel cake with a crumble topping).

Wait for the acoustic signal (indicates end of preheating) and slide the
