10.2.2 Safety data sheet for Castrol Hyspin ZZ 46 hydraulic oil
The following extract from the safety data sheet according to 91/155/EEC
must be observed.
Effect if inhaled: Vapors and aerosols may cause irritation of the mucous mem-
branes of the nose and throat.
Effect if ingested: May cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
Persistence / degradability: The product can be separated by mechanical means.
Mobility: The product is insoluble in water.
Environmental hazards: Prevent from entering wastewater and soil.
Disposal information
Disposal information / waste
specifications: Spilled and leaked product must be prevented from coming into
contact with soil and surface waters. Observe local, regional
and national regulations. Use only approved transporters, recy-
clers, treatment, storage or disposal facilities. If necessary, dis-
posal should be entrusted to a recognized waste disposal
company.
Hazardous waste
On the basis of the supplier’s current state of knowledge, this product is not considered as haz-
ardous waste as defined by EU directive 91/689/EC.
Classification:
Not hazardous as defined by the transport regulations (ADR/
RID, ADNR, IMDG, ICAO/IATA).
