Maintenance and storage
Roller synchronization
- Remove the wooden wedge.
- Slowly rotate the disk to check the timing at several
locations.
If the setting is not respected:
- Remove sprocket (2) and offset it by one spline with
regards to shaft (1).
- Repeat procedure if necessary.
- Reinstall screws (1) and washers (2).
• Torque: 21 daN m (155 lbf ft).
- Fill chain cover with one cartridge of grease.
- Reinstall cover and its seal.
- Reinstall bolts (3):
• Torque: 4.9 daN m (36 lbf ft).
- Proceed the same way on the other side
(If necessary).
Lugs of the upper roller should be centered
withing lugs of lower roll with lower span of
chain tight.
