• Disconnect the power before cleaning the appliance.
• Do not immerse the cord, plug or electric base in any liquid.

• Select the appropriate capacity setting: 1.5L, 3.5L, or 5.5L (Fig.5).
• Cook your food for the length of time required in your recipe. Some slow
cooker recipes for the different pot sizes start on page 11.
• At the end of the cooking time, turn the temperature control to the WARM
setting to keep your food warm until serving.
• After you have finished using the slow cooker, turn the temperature control to
the OFF setting and unplug the appliance from the power supply (Fig.6).
• Carefully take the ceramic pot off the base for serving. The pot is hot! Use
oven mitts and place it on a trivet to protect sensitive surfaces (Fig.7).
• Make sure the pot and lid have cooled down sufficiently before washing them
in a dishwasher or by hand (Fig.8).
