ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Head Light Switch Continuity when Setting Switch at HI-BEAM
Position

1. Measure the resistance with an ohmmeter across the B1 terminal

to the T terminal and the B1 terminal to the 1 terminal.

2. If 0 ohm is not indicated, renew the head light switch.

Head Light Switch Continuity when Setting Switch at LO-BEAM
Position

1. Measure the resistance with an ohmmeter across the B1 terminal

to the T terminal and the B1 terminal to the 2 terminal.

2. If 0 ohm is not indicated, renew the head light switch.

Connector Voltage

1. Disconnect the connector 8A from the combination switch.
2. Measure the voltage with a voltmeter across the connector B2

terminal and chassis when the main switch is ON position.

3. If the voltage differs from the battery voltage, check the wiring

harness.

Turn Signal Switch OFF Position

1. Set the hazard switch to the OFF position.
2. Measure the resistance with an ohmmeter across the B2 terminal

to the R terminal and the B2 terminal to the L terminal.

3. If infinity ohm is not indicated, renew the combination switch.

1. Set the hazard switch to the R position.
2. Measure the resistance with an ohmmeter across the B2 terminal

to the R terminal.

3. If 0 ohm is not indicated, renew the combination switch.
