Operation
Swivelling the roll-over safety bar upward and downward and locking it

Position the front attachments as illustrated.

Turn off the engine (page 81).

Pull out the safety bolts (1 and 2).

Pull out the locking bolts (3 and 4).

Grasp the upper part (5) of the safety bar firmly with both hands
at the highest point possible above the swivel joints.

Slowly swivel the upper part of the safety bar downward.

Swivelling the roll-over safety bar upward is effected in reverse order.
Take care to assure that your hands are not crushed
during the downward movement.
The excavator must not be operated when the safety bar has been swivelled downward. Always carry
out work with the safety bar swivelled upward, unless you drive through a low passageway on a flat
surface
Make sure that the roll-over safety bar in the swivelled upward position is locked by the locking bolts
(previous figure/3 and 4) and secured by the safety bolts (previous figure/1 and 2).
