[1] CHECKING AND ADJUSTING

Brake Pedal Free Travel

CAUTION

• Stop the engine, remove the key, and chock the wheels

before checking brake pedal.

1. Release the parking brake.
2. Loosen the lock nut (1)
3. Adjust the brake spring (2) length (A) so that the brake pedal free

travel (B) is from 15 to 25 mm (0.59 to 0.98 in.).

4. Retighten the lock nut (1).

• Brake spring length (A) : 73 to 74 mm (2.87 to 2.91 in.)
