Fuel tap

The fuel tap is on the left of the fuel tank.
With tap handle
on the fuel tap, you can open or close the supply of fuel to the car-
buretor.
Possible states
• Fuel supply closed
OFF
–
No fuel flows from the tank to the carburetor.
• Fuel supply open
ON
–
Fuel flows from the tank to the carburetor. The fuel tank
empties down to the reserve.
• Reserve fuel supply open
RES
–
Fuel flows from the tank to the carburetor. The
fuel tank empties completely.

Opening filler cap

Press release button
, turn filler cap counterclockwise and lift it upwards and
remove.

Closing filler cap

Replace the filler cap and turn clockwise until the release button
locks in place.

Choke
is fitted on the left side of the carburetor.
Activating the choke function frees an opening through which the engine can draw
extra fuel. This gives a richer fuel-air mixture, which is needed for a cold start.

If the engine is warm, the choke function must be deactivated.
Possible states
• Choke function activated

The choke lever is pulled out to the stop.
• Choke function deactivated
–
The choke lever is pushed in to the stop.
