First remove coarse dirt particles with a gentle spray of water.

Spray very dirty areas with a normal motorcycle cleaner and then clean with a brush.

Clean the vehicle using a soft sponge and warm water containing normal motor-
cycle cleaner.

After rinsing the vehicle with a gentle spray of water, allow it to dry thoroughly.

Clean the air filter box.

Clean or dry dirty or wet brakes by riding and braking gently.

After cleaning, take a short ride until the engine reaches operating temperature.

The heat produced causes water at inaccessible locations in the engine and the
brakes to evaporate.

Push back the protection caps from the handlebar controls to allow any water that may
have entered there to evaporate.

After the vehicle has cooled off, lubricate all moving parts and bearings.
