10.1
Removing the air filter
Note
Engine failure
Unfiltered intake air has a negative effect on the service life of the engine.

Never ride the vehicle without an air filter since dust and dirt can get into the engine and result in increased wear.

Oil, grease, filters, fuel, cleaners, brake fluid, etc., should be disposed of as stipulated in applicable regulations.

Remove the seat (

Raise the rear of the air filter box lid
. At the same time, use your other hand to
press on the carburetor connection boot
to kink it at that location. This prevents
the carburetor connection boot from disconnecting from the carburetor.
–
Unhook the air filter holder
and swing it to the side. Remove the air filter
with
the air filter support.
–
Remove the air filter from the air filter support.

Installing the air filter

Mount the clean air filter onto the air filter support.

Grease the air filter in area

Long-life grease (

Put in both parts together, position them and fix them with the air filter support
