The sealing surfaces have been cleaned.
1. Replace O-rings 412.21/412.22.
2. Connect the new power cable to the conductor strands of the stator.
Make sure that the phases are connected correctly.
3. Check the motor winding in the terminal box or at the cable end.

If the cable connection is in working order, consult KSB.
4. Slip on the cover and gently tighten screws 914.38.
Take care not to damage the cable.
5. Tighten screws 914.38.
Observe the tightening torque. (
7.5.3 Installing the bearings
7.5.3.1 Spare motor unit
NOTE
Motor units supplied as spare parts come with the bearing carrier already fitted. Go to (⇨
7.5.3.2 Fitting the bearing carrier

The individual parts are kept in a clean and level assembly area.
✓
All disassembled parts have been cleaned and checked for wear.
✓
Any damaged or worn parts have been replaced by original spare parts.

The sealing surfaces have been cleaned.

The notes and steps stated in (
43) have been observed/carried out.
1. Place O-ring 412.22 into the groove in motor housing cover 812.
2. Place O-ring 412.02 into the groove in bearing carrier 382.
3. Push bearing carrier 382 with bearing bush into motor housing cover 812.
4. Insert screws 914.72 and tighten with a torque wrench.
Observe the tightening torque. (
7.5.3.3 Fitting the motor-end bearing sleeve on the rotor

The notes and steps stated in (
44) have been observed/carried out.
1. Slip taper lock ring 515.23, bearing sleeve 529.06, taper lock ring 515.24 and cup
springs 950.11 (pointing in the same direction) onto the free shaft end (motor-
end).
The highest point of the cup spring pack must point towards the head of socket
head cap screw 914.80.
2. Screw in socket head cap screw 914.80 (left-hand thread!) and tighten slightly by
hand.
3. Slightly turn plain bearing sleeve 529.06 in the conical seat.
4. Tighten socket head cap screw 914.80 (left-hand thread!).
Observe the tightening torque. (
