5.4.4 Auxiliary connections

Failure to use or incorrect use of auxiliary connections (e.g. barrier fluid, flushing liquid,
etc.)

Refer to the general arrangement drawing, the piping layout and pump
markings (if any) for the dimensions and locations of auxiliary connections.

Use the auxiliary connections provided.
5.5
Connecting the potential equalisation conductor
A screw terminal for the potential equalisation conductor is fitted on the outside of
the motor housing.
The terminal consists of a pressed-in square base with fitted clamp and a screw (M5)
with spring washer.
The potential equalisation terminal fulfills the requirements of VDE 0170 and is
marked with the earth symbol.
The conductor must be connected in a suitable manner as set forth in
EN 60999-1:2000
Nominal cross-section: 4 mm
