3.7.3
Setting the cutting length
This adjustment is carried out centrally on the left hand
side of the wagon.
•
Lowering the cutting unit (See chapter 4, page IV-7)
•
Remove the ignition key and switch off the electrical
supply at the control box.
•
Using the multipurpose spanner (4), switch the cutters
in or out until the desired number of cutters and
therefore the desired cutting length has been selected.
•
Hang the multipurpose spanner in the transport retainer
again.
•
Switch on the electrical system again.
•
Return the cutters to working position again (see
chapter 4, page IV-7).
3.7.4
Switching cutters
Lifting the articulated tow-bar makes it
easier to work in comfort under the vehicle.
Secure the raised vehicle with the
supporting foot.
Lower the cutting unit fully
Remove the ignition key and switch off the
electrical supply at the control box.
The safety lever (6) on each cutter safety device must be
released in order to remove the cutters (5). For this
purpose, the multipurpose spanner (4) must be used to
rotate both selector shafts so that their cams (1) and (2)
are pointing downwards.
The blades (5) can now be removed.

removing or inserting blades!
