Maintenance
Shortening the scraper-floor chain
•
Remove the cotter pin (1) on the chain joint (3).
•
Remove the locking piece (2)
•
Shorten the chain by 2 or 4 links at a time.
•
Join the chain with the chain joint (3).
•
Secure the locking piece (2) and cotter pin (1).
Both scraper-floor chains must be
shortened by the same amount. In the
case of double scraper floors, the
respective associated pairs of chains must
be shortened.

Scrapers
The scrapers are located on the conveyor
drum at the front of the storage area.
•
Check the backs of the scrapers (1) for wear after
each season and replace if necessary.

The distance of the knives to the drum is
adjusted at the factory by means of the set
screws (2) and the lock nuts (1). This
factory adjustment must not be changed.

At the end of the season stop plate (1) must be checked
for wear.
If the thickness of the stop plate (t=6mm)
should be reduced by 50%, the plate must
be replaced (PN 334 975-2).
•
Tension spring (3) again until it becomes possible to
install bolt (5).
•
Remove the spindle and the bolt from hole (7).
