Disc springs at collapsible tine arms outside

Disc springs (2) are assembled at collapsible tine arms outside (1). A preload force is generated
by the disc springs. The preload force is used for the guidance with no play of the bolt (3) in the
hinge point.
The preload force as well as the installation position of the disc springs are pre-set ex works.
Via use of the preload force a manual force of 20 kg has to be applied during swivelling the tine
arms in order to be able to insert or rather remove the bolt (3).
Due to tolerances in the parts the preload force of disc springs may have to be recalibrated
when making repairs.
To do this:
•
Unscrew bolts (4)
•
Rearrange disc springs (2)
Arrangement a : stronger preload force
Arrangement b: weaker preload force
•
Srew the screw (4) and tighten finger tight
Note
Use a “high-strength” screw locking agent (for example Loctite).
Note
Oil bolt (3) every 50 h, in order to ensure easy movement.
