Putting the machine into operation
Secure the raised jack stand (3) in position “a” with the
support (1) and spring pin (2).
Switch off the engine after coupling the
rotary tedder. Remove the ignition key.
Secure the tractor from rolling away.
PTO shaft
•
Move the PTO shaft support (1) upwards
•
Slide the PTO shaft (2) on the PTO shaft stub
•
Secure the PTO shaft guard from rotating with the
shaft with the retaining chain
Adjusting the length of the PTO shaft
•
Attach one half (1) and (2) each to the tractor and
the machine
•
Move the rotary tedder to the smallest position for
the PTO shaft
•
Measure both halves against one another
•

Hydraulics
CAUTION: The hydraulics on the tractor and on the
machine must be depressurised during attachment.
•
Remove the control unit (1) from the machine
mount (4) and insert into the support on the tractor.
•
Remove the hydraulic hose (2) from the machine
mount (3) and connect to a single-action control
device. (KWT 8.80/8 double action control valve)
