Preparations for road travel

DANGER! – Road travel, carrying passengers, driving conduct!

Effect: Danger to life, injuries or damage to the machine.

The following conditions must be met for road travel:

•

Driving on public roads is permitted only if the bale chamber is empty and locked.

•

If the machine is not equipped with brakes, the weight of the tractor must be at least
equal to the empty weight of the machine (The empty weight of the baler is listed in the
"Technical Data" chapter).

•

To prevent functions from being triggered accidentally, it is essential to turn off the
control unit when the machine is being transported.

•

Do not exceed the maximum speed (see type plate).

•

Riding on the machine is not permitted.

•

Observe the maximum supporting and tensile load of the hitching device on the tractor.

•

The traffic safety of the machine, especially the lighting, locked protective covers and
twine box flaps, raised and secured pick-up must be checked and guaranteed.

•

Before starting, ensure that you have perfect visibility on and around the tractor and the
machine.

•

In the case of machines with operating permission, observe the requirements in the
operating permission!
