As the laser can only cut vertically, you will have
to sand several edges of the laser parts. For this
glue a piece of sand paper onto plate 21.
Building Instruction
Glue together parts 1 and 2 for the building
guide. For drying please place on a flat area.
Stick in the bulkheads 3 to 10 in the correct
order. Press them down until they are flat on the
bottom. Now glue part 12 into the slots of
bulkheads 4 to 6 and part 14 into the slots of
bulkhead 3 and 4.
Place the prop shaft with tube 13 and let the
tube protrude about 2 mm at the rear end.
Now place the keel 11 with stays 15 on
bulkhead 10 and glue.
For keeping the distance correctly, stick distance
pieces 11a onto bulkhead 6 and 7 near to the
keel.
Do NOT glue them.
Cover the thread of the prop shaft with some
adhesive film or some tube to prevent from glue
or paint.
Place the hull onto the side and glue the tube of
the prop shaft between part 11 and 12 with
Epoxy-Resin.
Glue rudder fixation 17 into part 14 and
bulkhead 4.
Stick the rudder tube 16 between part 12 and 14
and through the hole of part 17.
The ruder tube should protrude about 4 mm out
of the keel.
The gaps for stringers 18-20 at the front of the
keel 11 have to be filed diagonal from both sides
with a small file. File them out in line with the
next bulkhead.
File the front ends of deck stringers 18 (pine
strip 3x3 mm) diagonal. First glue them both to
the keel into the prepared gaps. After the glue
has fixed, they can be placed and glued into the
gaps of the following bulkheads.
Follow in the same way with bottom stringers 19
(pine strip 3x3 mm) and stringers 20 (pine strip
2x5 mm), file diagonal, glue to front and then
into the following bulkheads.
Bottom stringers 19 and stringers 20 also need
to be glued together directly. Let all glue dry out
safely before the next step.
Sharpen the keel from both sides from deck
down to the end marking
Stringers and the sharpened edges should now
have an equal angle.
Now sand the complete hull frame, until all
protruding edges or rests of glue on frames or
stringers are totally flat and angled.
Also file the ends of the stringers flush with the
bulkhead.
Both floor pieces 23 need to be sharpened from
inside only in the area of the front radius. Please
check clearly to sharpen from the inside, which
also shows the markings for easy bending.
Further to the rear you only need to sand the
longitudinal side to fit next to the keel.
