VIA Pad Configuration
For entities using VIA Pad, the first required step is to configure GO to allow it to
pair the VIA Pad devices.
Note
: Your VIA Pad can properly function ONLY if your LAN Preferences are set to
Static IP mode (not supporting DHCP mode). Make sure your network settings are
configured in Static IP before configuring your VIA Pad.
Even if using the WLAN built-in module (in either AP or Client mode) for pairing
your VIA Pad, the Static IP on the LAN must be selected.
VIA Pad Configuration

Guest mode:
Enable this mode in case you want the VIA Pad to act as a
simple “Present / Stop Presenting” touch device. No client application
shows on the user’s display.

VIA Pad overrides Room Code:
Enable this feature if you want the VIA
Pad to bypass the need to type in the Room Code authentication.
•
Room Name:
Is automatically populated; it reflects the name of
VIA GO
