7.6 Combination Venting
7.6.1 5” x 8” Vent Configurations
IMPORTANT: The horizontal vent heat shield must be installed
when incorporating minimum horizontal venting. Refer to
Section 7.8 on page 25.
IMPORTANT: Horizontal vent sections require ¼ in (6 mm) rise
for every 12 in (305 mm) of travel.
NOTE: Horizontal terminations over 25 ft (7.6m) must use
stainless steel pipe for entire length of vent system.
