Cause Remedy
Lens contaminated with dust and dirt.
Clean the objective lens or the lens underneath the hole
mirror. (For the objective lens cleaning procedure, see the
instruction manual.)
Focus mirror malfunctioning.
(Faulty solenoid ) Contact our company for repair. After replacing the focus
mirror solenoid, mirror adjustment will be needed.
Focus mirror malfunctioning.
(Faulty CPU board)
Replace the CPU board.
Cause Remedy
Lens contaminated with dirt.
Clean the objective lens.(For the objective lens cleaning
procedure, see the instruction manual.)
Lens with scars on its surface. Replace the objective lens.
Cause Remedy
Lowpass-filter(CCD) of digital camera
contaminated with dust and dirt. Clean the lowpass-filter(CCD) of a digital camera.

Cause Remedy
Microcorea knob not pulled out to its
proper position.
Not faulty. Pull out the microcorea knob to its limit.
Improper dilation.
In the small pupil mode, the pupil must be open in excess
of 3.7 mm in diameter.
Otherwise, a picture photographed may become dark.
If the pupil diameter is too small to photograph even in the
small pupil mode, expedite a patient's dilation by making
the room much darker or making longer the
dark-adaptation time in darkness.
Insufficient flash light intensity.
A picture photographed may become dark depending on
whose eye was examined. In this case, increase the flash
light intensity when photographing.
Connector improperly connected.
Connect the connector between the micro switch and the
head board over again.
Cause Remedy
Insufficient dilation.
Photograph in the small pupil mode. (Effective pupil
diameter for photography is 3.7 mm or more.)
If the pupil diameter is too small to photograph even in the
small pupil mode, expedite a patient's dilation by making
the room much darker or making longer the
dark-adaptation time in darkness.
