Function Principle
The INFRAcontrol motion switches are passive infra-red
motion switches.
Through a lens optic, the sensors of the INFRAcontrol mo-
tion switch can detect, assess and electronically convert
invisible heat radiation from moving bodies (people, ani-
mals, etc.) into switching operations.
Heat radiation cannot, however, penetrate barriers such as
walls, glass, etc.
This is to be taken into consideration when choosing a
suitable location for installation.
The motion switch should, if possible, be installed
protected against rain, wind and direct sunlight in order to
prevent unintended switching.
