6.6.3.2.

Disk Management

In this section, users can view the details of the connecting storage drives. Also, users can

format and unload storage drives. Users can figure out the types, models, and the status of the

storage drives. If a new storage drive is not formatted yet, there will be no storage data in the

list until the new drive has been formatted.

There are repeat recording (Cover) and stop recording when the drive is full functions.

NTFS and EXT4 formatting functionalities are supported. EXT4 is for Linux system not for

Windows system. It requires special tools to proceed disk management if the storage drive is

connected to a Windows system.

KZ-NP6000 is compatible with SMB protocol and recorded video sharing in intranet

SAMBA protocol. In practice, users can copy the recorded videos by logging into KZ-NP6000.

It is faster than that by USB drive.

FTP distanced download is supported in KZ-NP6000. Users can proceed distanced

downloading by typing “ftp://IP address of KZ-NP6000”. In this way, there is no need to copy

files on site.
