3.10 Placing Originals on the Glass
Place originals that cannot be processed by a document feeder onto the
original glass.
Paper Originals and Transparent Originals
1 Raise the original cover by at least
15°.
If the original cover is not open wide
enough, the original size will not be
detected automatically.
2 Place the original on the glass. The
side that is to be copied must be
down.

3 Slide the original to the upper right
corner of the original glass.
4 Align the original with the Original
Scales.
