7.1.4 Special dialling characters
Your machine allows you to enter special dialling characters when
registering the auto-dialler. The chart below briefly describes each of
these characters. It also tells you what keys to press on your machine to
store those characters in your autodialler.

How to assign the “Pause/Dial Opt.” to a soft key, see “11 Special
features [CD]”.
Character What it does Keystroke
/P Each pause lasts two seconds.
If you mast wait for another dial tone
or signal at any point in the dialling
sequence, enter a pause there in
the number.
(You can change the pause lenght.
See “13 User settings [CD]”.) Press [Advanced Functions] repea-
tedly until “Pause/Dial Opt.” ap-
pears, then [Enter]
or
Press a soft key which is assigned
“Pause/Dial Opt.” once
– Makes long numbers easier to read. Press [Advanced Functions]
repeatedly until “Pause/Dial Opt.”
appears, then press [Enter]. Repeat
this procedure until a “–” character
appears on the LCD.
or
Press a soft key which is assigned
“Pause/DialOpt.” twice.
/N Enters a “Dial prefix code” to access
to alternative telephone network.
“/N” must be entered to the first of
number. Press [Advanced Functions]
repeatedly until “Dial Prefix (/N)”
appears and press [Enter].
Repeat this procedure until a “/N”
character appears on the LCD.

“Pause/Dial Opt.” four times.
