4 - OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Parking the unit
Disconnection and parking
To disconnect and park the implement, proceed as fol-
lows:
1. Disengage the Power Take-Off (PTO) drive shaft, ac-
tivate the parking brake and stop the tractor engine
2. Place the implement on a firm and level ground.
3. Swing the header to the center position.
4. Lower the header to the ground or let the header rest
on wooden blocks.
5.
Remove the support pin from the jack and lower the
jack to a vertical position.
6.
When the holes re-align, reinsert the support pin.
7.
Secure the support pin with the attached hairpin clip.
8.
Disconnect the implement from the link arms of the
tractor.
9.
Disconnect the hydraulic hoses and the wiring har-
ness and store them in the storage holders on the
tongue.
10. Remove the PTO drive shafts, grease the telescoping
shafts and keep them in a dry place.
11. Place the wheel chocks as follows:
○ On a flat surface: one wheel chock in front of, and
one behind a wheel.
○ On a slope: one wheel chock per wheel, either
in front of, or behind the wheel, depending on the
incline of the ground.
