7 - MAINTENANCE

Adjusting the belt - Collector III unit (if equipped)

WARNING

Rotating parts!
Keep clear of all drives and rotating components.
Failure to comply could result in death or serious injury.

If the belt has a tendency to work upward, adjust the
belt slightly at the backside. Therefore, increase the
distance between the right-hand side and the left-hand
side roller.

If the belt has a tendency to work downward, loosen
the belt slightly at the backside. Therefore, reduce the
distance between the right-hand side and the left-hand
side roller.

Let the belt run for a minimum of

30 s

and check that

the belt runs at the top of the rollers without wearing the
back plate. The belt must run at the top of the rollers
as the crop will press the belt downward on the rollers
during work.

NOTICE:

When you start to operate in the field with a new

belt or other new rotating parts (rollers, bearings, etcetera),
check the belt the first couple of rounds and make the nec-
essary re-adjustments until the belt runs correctly. If the
belt runs hard against the front or back plate, the belt can
have damages within a short time.
