ELECTRIC STARTER
Information
A weak battery may be unable run the starter motor
quickly enough.
If the battery voltage is enough while the engine is not
cranking, the starter motor may be damaged.
Troubleshooting
Starter motor turns slowly
Weak battery.
Poorly connected starter motor cable.
Faulty starter motor.
Poorly connected battery ground cable.
Starter motor will not turn
Engine stop switch at left or right position.
Gearshift bar is not at neutral position.
Check for a blown fuse near battery.
Make sure that the battery is fully charged and in good
condition.
