Install the Spout Shroud (cont.)
Verify that the shroud is centered on the tube assembly. Make any
adjustments as needed.
Verify that any excess sealant is removed from below the spout.
NOTE:
Do not clean the bath with wax or polish. Wax causes water
to bead on the surface of the bath and will cause breaks in the
sheetflow.
Verify that the bath is clean.
Verify that the holes/slots are not blocked. Remove any
obstruction.
If the sheetflow is not complete and breaks in the sheetflow:
Verify the spout tube and shroud are level. Make any adjustments
as needed.
Verify that the shroud is centered on the spout tube assembly.
Make any adjustments as needed.
Remove any excess sealant from below the spout.
Verify the bath is clean.
NOTE:
Do not clean the bath with wax or polish. Wax causes water
to bead on the surface of the bath and will cause breaks in the
sheetflow.
Verify the holes/slots of the bath components are not blocked.
Remove any obstruction.
If the sheetflow is not complete and breaks in the sheetflow still
occur:
Loosen the wall fasteners from the bath bench/rim.
Raise the shroud about 1/4
″
(6 mm). The bottom of the shroud
and the bottom of the bracket on the spout tube should be at the
same height.
Retighten the wall fasteners. Do not overtighten.
17. Installation Checkout
Ensure that all connections are tight.
Open the drain.
Open both hot and cold valves and run water through the spout
(if installed) to remove debris. Check for leaks.
