1. Preparation
Install the water supplies and drain piping according to the
roughing-in information.
Install the faucet and strainer(s) to the sink according to the
manufacturer’s instructions.
Cut the paper template along the line indicated for either
self-rimming or undercounter dependant on your particular
installation.
Position the sink template on the countertop. If desired, tape in
place.
Using a soft lead pencil, trace around the cut-out template.
2. Prepare the Site
CAUTION: Risk of product damage.
Do not cut, drill, or sand
the countertop while positioned over the fixture.
Drill holes at the four corners of the template tracing.
Stay inside
the pencil line.
Carefully cut along the inside of the pencil line
to cut out the
opening in the countertop.
Sand the edge of the cutout to smooth the surface and remove all
saw marks. For laminate-type countertops, waterproof all
unprotected areas of wood.
Clean the countertop so it is free from grease and debris.
