6. Remove the remaining hex

securing the blower housing. Remove the blower
housing. See Figure 8-35.

2. Remove the Oil Sentry™ switch from the
breather cover.
NOTE: This is optional. Removing the Oil Sentry™ is
not required to remove the breather cover.
Remove Oil Temperature Sensor
1. Disconnect the lead from the oil temperature
sensor. See Figure 8-37.

Remove Oil Sentry™
1. Disconnect the lead from the Oil Sentry™ switch.
See Figure 8-36.

2. Remove the oil temperature sensor from the
breather cover.
NOTE: Unless the oil temperature sensor is damaged
or malfunctioning, disassembly from the
breather cover is unnecessary.
3. Remove the breather hose from the breather
cover.
Remove Inner Baffl es and Breather Cover
1. Remove the two hex

ange screws securing the
inner ba

es to the crankcase.
2. Remove the inner (valley) ba
ffl
