5.3 Operating the soft keys

The soft keys (1 to 6) are primarily used in the operation of the Plotter, Radar, Sounder and NAV Unit but

are also used in the operation of each function such as the “DISP” key’s display screen selection function,

the “BRILL” key’s brightness adjustment function and the “MENU” key’s initial settings function.

The soft keys correspond to the keys 1 to 6 that are displayed at the top of the screen and are used to

setup and adjust the functions displayed by pressing the associated keys of the soft menu.

The soft menu automatically disappears 30 seconds after the completion of the operation.
