7.4.14 Alarm (GZ)
The alarm function sounds a warning when a target enters a predefined area (IN MODE), or
alternatively, when the last target leaves the area (OUT MODE).
The alarm area can be set with a specific angle and distance. Use the following procedure.
(1) Press the “GZ” key of the soft menu (RADAR/PAGE1 (2)/R FUNC/NAV) to display the alarm
function
settings
menu.

The alarm mode can be
set for IN or OUT.

Turns the alarm
function ON/ OFF.
Sets up the alarm area.
Move the cross cursor to the start point
of the area and press the ”START” key.
Move the cross cursor to the end point
of the area and press the ”END” key.

If 1 start point is assigned among 4 end points the
alarm area will be set centered on the start point.
(2) If the alarm has been set, “GZ IN” or “GZ OUT” is displayed at the top left of the screen indicating the alarm
function is activated.
