Cleaning the ink 
cartridge

If the head of the ink cartridge is dirty or if the ink cartridge has not been 
used for a long period of time, it may not print properly.

Cleaning the print head 
automatically

1. Click the 

User Utility

 icon to open the User Utility.

2. Click 

Clean

 

Imprinter

. This option only improves the print quality. 

This option is only available if the imprinter is installed

.

Cleaning the print head 
manually

1. Remove the ink cartridge as described in the next section.

2. Use a moistened tissue paper to gently wipe and clean the print 

head.

CAUTION: Do not use any material that contains alcohol or the 

roller cleaning paper to clean the print head.
