Diagnostics
The Diagnostics function provides the following options:
• Print Test
• Count Only
• Count Only - Multifeed
• Patch Test
• UDDS Calibration
• Alterations
See the sections that follow for a description of these options.
Performing a Print test
The print test checks to be sure the ink jets in the optional Enhanced Printer
are working properly.
1. Select
Print Test
. The Print Test screen will be displayed.
2. Place a blank sheet of paper in the input elevator.
3. Press the
Start/Pause
button. The document in the output tray will display
the results of the print test.
4. Remove the document from the output tray and evaluate the appearance
of the test pattern.

If the pattern is complete, you are ready to begin.
