• This meter should only be used in accordance with the functions laid out in this manual and with
the supplied test leads
• Damaged test leads must be replaced with models of same electrical specification
• To avoid risk of electric shock, do not use this meter before the battery compartment is secured
• The range switch must be in the correct position for the testing
• To avoid electric shock and damaging this meter, do not exceed the specified limits
• Range switch position should not be changed at random times during measurement
• Take precautions against electric shock when measuring voltages higher than 60V DC and 30V AC
• After use, set function switch to OFF to save battery power
• If this meter is not going to be used for long periods of time, ensure the battery is removed to avoid
any damage caused by possible battery leakage
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR OPERATION:
ATTENTION: BEFORE OPERATION:
MEASURING DC VOLTAGE:
MEASURING AC VOLTAGE:
MEASURING DC CURRENT:
1. Check batteries. When the battery voltage drops below correct operational range;“ ” symbol will
appear on the LCD display and the batteries will require replacing
2. Pay close attention to the symbol beside the input jack which shows that the input voltage or
current should be within a specified value
3. The RANGE switch should be positioned to the desired range of measurement before operation
1. Connect the black test lead to “COM” socket and red test lead to the “VΩ” socket
2. Set the selector switch to desired “mV “ or “ V “ position and connect the probes across the
device under test
3. Read the result from the LCD panel
