1. Set selector switch to desired “400A/1000A

˜

” position

2.  Open the clamp by pressing the jaw-opening handle and insert the cable (one cable only) into the

jaw

3. Close the clamp and take the reading from the LCD panel

Note:
1. Before taking this measurement, disconnect the test lead from the meter for safety
2. Push the D.HOLD button to read the result later
3. AC Current range measurement is between 400A - 800A only

1. Connect the black test lead to “COM” socket and red test lead to the “” socket
2.  Set the selector switch to the “Ω” position, push the "SELECT" button to select resistance

measurement if it is not the first option

3. Connect the probes across the device under test
4. Read the result from the LCD panel

1. Connect the black test lead to “COM” socket and the red test lead to the “” socket
5.  Set the selector switch to desired “CAP” position. Press the “SELECT” button to select

capacitance measurement if it is not the first option

2. Connect the probes to the device under test
3. Read the result from the LCD panel

Note:
The jaw core may hold some magnetic force over time. If the display does not show “0” press “REL”,
and follow process below to rectify:

1. Change the direction of the measured DC current; open and close the jaws several times

2.  Open the clamp by pressing the jaw-opening handle and insert the cable to be measured into the jaw
