CAUTION

7.1  Grinding hand knives

Place hand knives (7-1/1) in both knife magazines 
outside the machine.

 

NOTICE

As shown in Figure 7-1, place the knives 
beginning from the bottom left, as the 
grinding program begins here. 

ATTENTION

The hand knives must be cleaned before they 
are placed in the knife magazine. 

The cutting edge must face away from the 
machine in the direction of the operator. 

The knife grip must stand vertically, other-
wise it may collide with the knife gripper.

The cutting edge is not to be greater or less 
than  70 - 270  mm. 

Additionally, the cutting edge must be at 
least 8 mm high, measured 20 mm from the 
tip of the knife (see Figure 7-2).
