14.10. TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
CAUSE
SOLUTION
Machinery without power
supply
Disconnected batteries
Check connections of all battery
cables.
Corroded battery cables
Clean connections.
Main thermal cut-out tripped
Reset the thermal cut-out
Faulty key switch
Replace the switch.
No thrust forward or
poor thrust backward.
Flat battery
Machinery on with pedal not
activated
Press accelerator pedal
Skidding
Reduce brush pressure
Loosened motor connection
Check wires and connections
from circuit board to motor.
Loosened accelerator
connections or faulty
accelerator potentiometer
Check wires and connections
that go from accelerator to panel
and to potentiometer resistor.
Loosened seat switch connection
or faulty seat switch
Check connections and
continuity of the switch.
Poor water collection or
no water collection
Wiper not adjusted
Adjust the wiper
Wiper clogged by debris
Remove debris
Worn wiper blades
Rotate or replace the blades
Water collection flexible hose
clogged
Release the vacuum flexible
hose
Water collection flexible hose
not correctly inserted in the
recovery tank
Reconnect the
vacuum flexible hose.
Water collection flexible hose
damaged
Replace the flexible hose.
Vacuum motor inlet
filter dirty
Clean or replace the inlet filter
Recovery tank not
hermetic.
Replace damaged seals
(gaskets)
Recovery tank full of foam
Empty the recovery tank,
use less detergent or a
different detergent.
Use an anti-foaming agent.
Failed lifting /
lowering of the brush plate
Faulty actuator
Repair or replace the actuator
The vacuum turbine motor does not
work or works slowly.

Discharge the recovery tank.
