• The appliance is intended for household use and similar uses,
such as:
– staff kitchens in shops, offices and other work environments
– farms
– hotels, motel rooms and other accommodation
– bed and breakfasts
• Do not leave the cord hanging over worktop edges and the like.
• Keep the appliance away from hot surfaces, hobs, burners and
heated ovens.
• Do not move the slow cooker if it contains hot foods, hot water
or other hot liquids.
• Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
• Do not turn on the slow cooker if the ceramic pot is empty.
• Allow the lid and pot to cool before cleaning them using water.
• Never touch the exterior of the slow cooker while it is switched
on or before it has cooled down. Always use a handle, knob,
oven gloves or a tea towel when removing the lid and handling
the contents.
• Never cook directly in the base unit. Always use the pot.
• The pot is only intended for use with this appliance. It must not
be used on a hob. Do not place a hot pot on a wet or cold sur-
face. Do not use a cracked pot.
• Do not use the pot or glass lid if you notice cracks or if there is
any damage.
• Switch the appliance off and unplug it before cleaning, maintain-
ing or moving it, and when not in use.
• Always unplug the appliance from the electrical socket when it
is not in use.
• Do not switch on the appliance if it is upside down or on its side.
