GET STARTED!
1. Remove the packaging.
2. Remove all labels and plastic from the product.
3. Wash the pot and glass lid in hot soapy water using a sponge or dishcloth.
4. Rinse thoroughly and then leave to dry.
WARNING! Never immerse the slow cooker’s base unit in water.
During initial use, you may detect an odour that occurs as a result of manufacturing
residues being burnt off. This is normal and disappears once the slow cooker has been
used for a while.
USE
COOKING
• Place the base unit on a dry, level and heat-resistant
surface where there is no risk of it falling down. Do not
place the slow cooker on the floor.
• Put the ingredients in the pot and place it on the base unit.
• If you need to precook or brown the ingredients first,
this must be done in a pan. Do not use the slow cooker to
precook or brown foods.
• Put the glass lid on the pot.
• Make sure the control knob is set to “OFF” before plugging
the slow cooker’s cord into an electrical socket.
• Set the control knob to “LOW” for low heat or “HIGH” for high
heat and cook the ingredients according to your recipe.
• Do not leave the slow cooker on for more than 10 hours.
• Once the ingredients have been cooked, you can turn off the slow cooker
or set it to “WARM”. This keeps the contents warm for up to 4 hours.
• To turn off the slow cooker, set the control knob to “OFF” and then unplug it.
Lift the pot out of the base unit using pot holders or oven gloves. Be careful
not to touch the base unit after cooking, as it will still be hot.
KEEP-WARM FUNCTION
• The slow cooker can keep the contents warm for up to 4 hours. After 4 hours,
the ingredients may start to dry out and the taste may change.
• The slow cooker can also keep food that has been cooked by other means warm.
