Microphone Gain
Microphone gain is the value based on which an audio level is amplified. You can adjust volume by
setting a microphone gain. The higher the gain is, the higher the volume will be.
Note:
A too high gain might result in speech distortion.
CPS Password
You can set a password for the customer programming software (CPS).
Speech Encryption
You can enable/disable speech encryption for the current channel to send speech after encryption.
5.5.TOT (Time-Out-Timer)
This function is to prevent overlong channel occupation. If the radio transmits for a period longer than
the one set by a dealer through the CPS, transmission will stop and a warning tone will ring. To stop
the tone, release the PTT key. After that, you can transmit again after a period (set by a dealer) by
holding down the PTT key.
Note:
If pre-warning is enabled by your dealer, you will receive an early warning of transmission
termination when the set TOT is nearly out.
5.6.Emergency Alarm
Under emergency, you can send an emergency alarm by pressing the programmed Emergency
Alarm key. Please specify audio-video effect by setting an alarm type and the content to send to other

You can have these settings done by a local dealer through programming. To quit emergency alarm,
press the programmed Quit Emergency Alarm key.
