Inserting the key and turning it one
click, sets to ACC position and sup-
plies power to the radio. Turning it two
clicks to the right, closes the electric
circuit and lights the engine oil pres-
sure lamp. Depress the clutch pedal to
disengage the clutch. Next, turn the key
to the right(heat pos). This activates the
glow plugs to preheat the combustion
chamber. After the glow plug lamp has
turned red and the engine has been pre-
heated completely, turn the key switch

(D) Acc
(E) Off
TURN SIGNAL/ HEAD LIGHT
SWITCH
(1) Turn Signal Switch (3) Horn Switch
(2) Head Light Switch
(A) Right (B) Middle (C) Left
Turning the light switch one click clock-
wise illuminates the low beam head-
lights and taillights. Turning it one more
click illuminates the high beam
headlights. When the turn signal light
lever is pushed up to the "A" position,
the turn signal lamp blinks, when it is
pushed to the B position, the right turn
signal lamp blinks.
OFF
A key position for stopping the engine.
ACC
A key position for operating accessory
function.
ON
A key position at which the engine is
running.
Heat
A key position for preheating the inside
of the combustion chamber.
Start
A key position for operating the motor.
OFF
:Headlight is turned OFF
:Low beam headlight is turned ON
:Upper beam headlight is turned ON
:Direction indication lamp is turned ON
:Tail light is turned ON
Because of the safety device, the
engine will not start except
when the clutch is depressed.

right and the starter will start to rotate
and the engine should start. Release
the key switch and it will return to the
ON position.
