2. Before getting off the tractor, disen-
gage the P.T.O, lower all implements,
place all control levers in their neutral
positions, set the parking brake, stop
the engine and remove the key.
3. If it is necessary to park on an incline,
be sure to chock the wheels to prevent
accidental rolling of the machine.
PARKING BRAKE LEVER
1. When parking, be sure to set the park-
ing brake.
To set the parking brake;
1) Interlock the brake pedals.
2) Depress the brake pedals.
3) latch the brake pedals with the park-
ing brake lever.

(3) Interlock the Brake Pedals
(A) DEPRESS
(B) PULL “DOWN”
CAUTION
To avoid personal injury:
Always set the parking brake and
stop the engine before leaving the
tractor seat.
IMPORTANT
To prevent damage to the parking
brake lever, make sure that brake
pedals are fully depressed before
pulling the parking brake lever up.
PARKING
WARNING
Apply the parking brake and place the
chocks at the rear wheels when
parking.
When parking the vehicle on a hill,
position the shift lever at low forward
(1
st
gear) for uphill and low reverse (1
st
gear) for downhill. Set the parking
brake and chock the wheels.
Do not park on steep hills. The vehicle
may roll down and cause an accident.
Leaving transmission in gear with the
engine stopped will not prevent tractor
from rolling. Park on level ground
whenever possible.
