ADJUSTING TOE-IN

ADJUSTING PROCEDURE
1. Loosen the lock nut and turn the turn-
buckle to adjust the rod length until the
proper toe-in measurement is obtained.
2. Retighten the lock nut.
1. Park tractor on a flat place.
2. Turn steering wheel so front wheels
are in the straight ahead position.
3. Lower the implement, lock the parking
brake and stop the engine.
4. Measure distance between tire beads
(center) at front of tire, hub height.
5. Measure distance between tire beads
at rear of tire, hub height.
6. Front distance should be 2 ~ 8 mm less
than rear distance. If not, adjust tie rod
length.
